John Paul Larkin, better known as Scatman or Scatman John (March 13, 1942-December 3, 1999) was the most known scat signer of all time. Scatman John is best known for his songs Scatman (Ski-Ba-Bop-Ba-Dop-Bop) and Scatman's World. These two songs were frequently used in pre-2008 SM64 bloopers (with an exception being Starman3 who kept using them untill 2010).

appears as the main villian. He wants to get revenge on Mario because he keeps using his songs. So, in his first attempt he gives Mario flashy clothes and his song "I'm a Scatman" is heard. Mario gets very annoyed and insits Scatman to turn him back to normal. Then, in his second attempt after changing Mario back he creates a Giant Mario to kill Mario and Toad. Mario sends in the army to kill the Giant Mario but they failed. Lakitu comes in and risks his life to save Mario and with the power of numbers Lakitu kills the Giant Mario. Finally, in his third and final attempt of killing Mario. He turns Peach's Castle into a black castle with himself in it and sings his famous song (I'm a Scatman) in slow motion Then, Toad sings Baby by Justin Bieber and stops the sing war. after that his ghost form is shown and Mario shows him why every one uses his music because there the best. Eventually, he is sorry for what he did and then leaves and goes back to heaven he is never seen again in another one of SMG4 bloopers.
