Sam and Kenji are two former members of the Splat Squad who has only physically appeared so far in SMG4: If Mario Was In... Splatoon. After Meggy Spletzer left the team without actively involving herself in it, they soon abandoned her and the team functioned without her until being replaced by Mario, Luigi, and Tari.
They both make cameos in SMG4 Movie: Meggy's Destiny, where they appear in Meggy's flashback.
