―Grand Dad

Grand Dad (also known as 'Bootleg Mario') is a bootleg villain from his species' namesake dimension who has appeared as a minor character in SMG4's bloopers. He is based on the main character of the infamous bootleg game 7 Grand Dad.

Appearances Edit

He first appeared in SM64: THE BOOTLEG DIMENSION as the main antagonist. When Mario disobeyed Professor E. Gadd

into not entering the failed painting experiment, he fell into the Bootleg Dimension. As Mario was getting afraid of all of the bootleg inhabitants, Grand Dad appeared and requested help from Mario to exit this dimension, so Mario took him to his dimension. While initially appearing as a friendly character, he started to bootleg Mario's world up and revealed himself as a villain. After a brief fight in the castle, Mario took a defeated Grand Dad back to his dimension through the failed experiment and subsequently destroyed it, turning everything back to normal.

He would later appear as the "Ghost of Sh!tty Games" in SMG4: Welcome To The Kushroom Mingdom, where he grants SMG3's wish to build a kingdom similar to the one he lives in except "cooler". He would also appear as one of the many fighters in ♫ The Ultimate Smash Bros ♫, but only when Sakurai goes on a rampage as he runs away in fright.

He also appeared in The Grand Mario Hotel as “Bootleg Mario”, in which he was one of many Marios who went to the Grand Mario Hotel. He was also shown to still hate Mario before the latter’s treason to Don Mario, in which the hotel successfully collaborated to get rid of Mario from the hotel.
