Mario[]
He has a somewhat nice relationship with Mario. Mario would usually use him as a tool in some situations, but they really like each other as friends and never fight.
However, Mario chose to use Fishy Boopkins in one of his Jackass stunts, which resulted in him crashing into a plane. However, in the end, Fishy Boopkins and the others who got tortured teamed up to get revenge on Mario.
Fishy chose to support Mario during the 2017 War Of The Fat Italians.
Since JubJub Boopkins made his debut since SMG4: The E G G, Boopkins and Tari usually scold Mario for his selfish behavior towards JubJub.

Bob Bobowski[]
Bob is currently Fishy's best friend, though it's Boopkins who is more dedicated to their friendship as Bob often mistreats him. Boopkins spends much of his time around Bob, and often shows that he cares for him. Such an example occurs in SMG4: The Mario Purge (Halloween 2018), where he opened the gates for Bob to come in the castle for safety despite most everyone else not wanting to help him.
Their friendship ended for awhile in SMG4: The Mario Concert after Fishy Boopkins has ruined Bob's concert and caused him to lose his fans. It was revealed that he was the one who pushed Fishy down a well in SMG4: Mario And... The Well so he can save Fishy Boopkins to make everyone happy and get some fame. Essentially he used Boopkins as a tool to give himself a higher reputation.
In SMG4: Mario and The Diss Track, he turned his back on Bob after giving a taste of his own medicine, making him lose his mansion. Near the Diner where Bob unsuccessfully attempts to reconnect with his former friends, Boopkins walks out for a brief minute. When Bob tries getting him to come back, a heartbroken Boopkins slams the door shut on him, making it clear that Boopkins was the most hurt by Bob's betrayal.
However, in SMG4 Christmas 2018: The Most Important Thing, after Bob announced his rap career retirement, Boopkins and the others saw that Bob cared about his friends, causing them to forgive Bob. As of now, Boopkins and Bob became friends again. When asked by Bob where his Christmas present is, Boopkins proclaims that his present is simply being friends with Bob again.

Meggy Spletzer[]
Is one of the best friends of Meggy, you can see them watching anime, playing Yu-Gi-Oh, even if he bores her. He is completely unaware of how he makes Meggy feel uncomfortable about anime.

SMG4[]
While he sees SMG4 as a friend, SMG4 often sees him as an annoying piece of "green sh!t". SMG4 gets annoyed by Fishy Boopkins constant stupidity and weeaboo personality, and often attacks him figuratively or emotionally. Either way, they still get along as Boopkins helped find SMG4's laptop and deal with Saiko.
Fishy sided against SMG4 in the 2017 War Of The Fat Italians. However, he was reluctant to insult him.

Saiko Bichitaru[]
Fishy Boopkins originally brought Saiko to life to have a real-life girlfriend. However, after Boopkins saw her jealous and controlling personality, he dumped her, causing Saiko to go crazy and attack the castle to kill him. Boopkins stopped Saiko with the help of SMG4 and Mario, and he let her go saying he'll still be her friend. Today Saiko might still have feelings for Fishy Boopkins as she saved him from a cliff in SMG4: Mario Battle Royale and worked with him to get revenge on Mario in SMG4: The Mario Channel - Mario's Jackass.
In SMG4: Mario and the Bob Mansion..., while they were walking to Bob's room to get his special Bob Juice, Boopkins tries catching up with Saiko through small talk and asks if they're still friends but before Saiko can answer, they approach the room. In the end, Saiko responds to Boopkins' question and agrees that they are still friends which brings much joy to him.

Luigi[]
Boopkins appears to be really close to Luigi, likely due to the fact that both of them are common targets for bullying. In SMG4: High School Mario, the two of them frequently look out for each other in the rough school environment. Boopkins tries to stand up for Luigi when Bowser and Wario antagonize the Green Plumber at both recess and gym, and even offers Luigi moral support for his fight with Bowser later on. Likewise, Luigi retaliates against the Koopa King at lunchtime when a projectile meant for him ends up hitting one of Boopkins' body pillows.
In SMG4: Stupid Mario Sports Mix, Boopkins and Luigi are shown spending time with each other on several occasions, with activities such as playing with dolls, swimming, and even dropping out of a football game to play Pokémon TCG together.
After Boopkins breaks up with Saiko in SMG4: Doki Doki Mario Club, Luigi tries his best to comfort him by telling Boopkins that he did the right thing by letting go of her.

Tari[]
The two of them are in good terms most of the time and have more than a few things in common, too. They both enjoy anime, though Fishy Boopkins also happens to be an otaku.
While he fought Tari during what Mario referred to as the civil war, he didn’t harm her but instead called her a very bad friend. However, after she started to cry, he immediately apologized.

Peach Toadstool[]
Following the anime ban, Fishy Boopkins introduces Peach to anime in SMG4: Mario Saves Anime, making her see anime in a more positive light and lift the ban. As of SMG4: Untitled Mario Video, they seem to be on pretty good terms with each other.

In SMG4: Mario vs IT 🤡, he takes Toad out of the sewer and revived him with electricity.

JubJub Boopkins[]
Following Jubjub’s debut, the two are often seen together, as they are brothers. He was upset when he believed that Jubjub had drowned in the ocean, but as it turned out, Jubjub could breathe underwater and knew how to swim.
Like JubJub, Fishy Boopkins can be stubborn.

Fishy Boopkins and Whimpu are alike in many ways, but they do not always get along.
